Product Overview
The Hydranautics CPA5-LD 8040 RO Membrane is a high-rejection brackish water reverse osmosis membrane designed for industrial and commercial water treatment applications. Its low-fouling spiral-wound configuration is designed to help address fouling and maintain stable membrane performance in properly pretreated RO systems.
The CPA5-LD 8040 features a composite polyamide membrane, 400 ft² (37.1 m²) active membrane area and a 34 mil (0.864 mm) feed spacer. Under Hydranautics’ specified test conditions, the membrane provides 11,000 GPD (41.6 m³/day) permeate flow and 99.7% salt rejection, with 99.6% minimum salt rejection.
The standard 8040 configuration has an element length of 40 inches (1,016 mm) and diameter of approximately 7.89 inches (200 mm), making it suitable for standard 8-inch RO pressure vessels.
The Hydranautics CPA5-LD 8040 is suitable for industrial RO plants, commercial water purification, process-water treatment and other applications requiring high salt rejection and reliable membrane performance.
